Our history as a civilization began on the Nile, thanks to everything that water has given us since the beginning of time. The ancient Egyptians said that along with Iteru, its Nile river, there was the Maat, order, balance and society, and it was up to Pharaoh to keep it that way. Beyond its shores, in the savannah and deserts, only Isfet, violence, famine and chaos were found.
We will never survive without water and if we destroy our rivers, seas and oceans, the consequences will be far worse than any epidemic.
Iteru is my new bath collection, a tribute to the Nile River, with bikinis and swimsuits that collect forms of the ancient Egyptian prop, to wear it for modern women.
And, obviously, as an environmental commitment, all designs are made by hand in Spain and in Recycled Polyester, with GRS (Global Recycle Standard) and OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certificate - with water-based inks, the coloration and printing of less impact environmental and minimal waste generation, and also fully recyclable.
